Timeless bliss

There are times when everything clicks, pieces come together and fall into place and when you look back over the images you find yourself smiling….

Karen and Andy’s wedding was just one of those moments, a day and a couple I’ll never forget. They were married on a chilly November day, in the picturesque town of Buxton and even though my part is now done, I  still look over their images and remember what an awesome day it was.

Like so many couples I first met Karen and Andy over a year ago over coffee, but with the added surprise of two of the most friendliest dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.

Straight away we clicked, as Karen and Andy are two of the most down to earth, grounded people you’ll ever meet. They’re both open and honest and their love for one another and their family is clear to see. Together they told me about how they met along with their  plans and ideas for their winter wedding.

Together they wanted me to tell their story, document their day and capture the days emotion. The only additional request was for a photo in front of the Buxton Opera House, something for them to remember, a memory for their day.

So late into the evening, splashing through puddles and braving the cold, we ventured out into the dark. What we captured was something special, something timeless and something I hope they can look back on for many years to come.

Thank you both for letting me share your day.
